Sell Grok Bot templates while you sleep

Grok Bot just opened template sharing. A tight charter for a real job — sales outbound, invoice sorting, bug reproduction — is a product you can sell once and keep improving.

You do not need to be a programmer. AI is a computer helper. Grok is xAI’s helper. Grok Bots repeat a job. AI Pulse is a free site of honest ways people use those tools to earn after hours. We refresh every 4 hours. We never promise income.

  • Brand new to AI

You have heard of ChatGPT or Grok but have not used them for work yet. This site explains the basics in plain English first.

  • Ready to try earning

You already chat with AI and want a real evenings or weekend desk from it — templates, bots, writing, or a small shop helper. Skills can grow from a first favor to a practice.

  • Tired of scam pitches

No fake screenshots. No promised payouts. If a pitch asks you to pay to unlock returns, we tell you to close it.

AI Personal Income Opportunities for Everyone

Tue, Sep 15, 12:00 AM UTC

Evenings & weekends

Legitimate after-hours desks, first.

Work you can run outside a day job. Start with one repeating favor. Grow into a catalog or a small practice when the skill is there. Lightning marks the hottest current briefings. Nothing here is a promise of income.

  1. 01 · First weekend

One useful favor. No Bot install. Photograph a bill, rewrite an email, recap a thread. Then charge the third person who asks.

  2. 02 · Evenings after work

A repeating desk you already understand: notes, outbound drafts, a VA seat, a weekly scan. Four evenings beat twelve weekends of “building my offer.”

  3. 03 · A catalog, then a practice

Freeze a winner. Templates, retainers, a tiny app. Same after-hours hours — more skill, more reviewed work. Still not a fortune pitch.

Part-time

Evenings and weekends are enough for a first desk.

Evenings and weekends are enough for a first $100. The pattern that keeps showing up: pick one repeating favor you already understand, run it with Grok for five shifts, then charge the third person who asks. Do not buy a $300 seat on a wish.

Good part-time desks this month: VA-style inbox and calendar cleanup, original X posts with Grok as editor, a single Bot template with a 20-minute install call, meeting notes for one local shop, a weekly competitor scan for a founder who hates tabs.

Bad part-time desks: guaranteed daily returns, exam-taking, engagement pods, “Grok signals” for trading rooms, and anything that needs the customer to deposit crypto to unlock a dashboard. If the screenshot is the entire pitch, it is not a desk.

Time box it. Four evenings to a first paid favor beats twelve weekends of “building my offer.” Publish the work. Ask for the money. Then read the next Pulse shift and pick one improvement, not a new identity.

Who this site is for

If you are brand new to AI, start here. Plain English: what this free site is, who it helps, what Grok and Grok Bots are, and that we never promise income — only honest work other people are doing after hours.

Evenings & weekends

Legitimate after-hours desks first: a first-weekend favor, an evenings repeating job, then a catalog that can grow with skill. Lightning marks the hottest current briefings. No fortune pitches.

Latest topics

The newest briefings this shift, in a clickable strip so you can jump a story before you scroll the magazine well.

Watch

Polled YouTube, Rumble, and other free lessons on Grok Bots and after-hours AI work — not thumbnail promises. Lightning on the hottest current tapes; full players live on the Watch desk.

Simple AI uses

First jobs with no Bot install: paste a long thread, photograph a bill, compare two quotes, rewrite one email, turn a recipe into a list, write a kind no.

Search for Topics

Type a desk, a Bot, or a beat — templates, outbound, tips, beginner, residual — including pieces older than 48 hours. Search is for the five-minute visit; the rest of this page is for the evening.

This shift’s plays

The current 4-hour edition, written out: two full paragraphs under each briefing, three on the lightning-marked hot ones other operators keep citing. Not a squeezed row of cards — the argument, then a link if you want the rest of the charter.

Live wire

This shift’s scan of GitHub, Substack, X, Hacker News, Dev.to, YouTube, Rumble, and PeerTube. We skip fortune pitches and keep the pieces a person can run after hours. Lightning marks the ones a lot of others are referencing.

Part-time desk

Evenings and weekends are enough for a first $100. The pattern: one repeating favor you already understand, Grok in the loop for five shifts, then charge the third person who asks. VA work, a single template, original posts — pick one.

Full-time practice

A book of reviewed work you can live on: outbound desks, research retainers, Main Street Bot installs, support teammates, Grok Build micro-apps. You invoice the review hour. Tokens are cheap. Judgment is not.

Passive & residual

Catalogs, memberships, tip jars, and tiny apps that still pay after you walk away. Residual is a catalog you maintain, not a lottery ticket. Freeze a winner, schedule the update, skip the “set and forget” fairy tale.

Briefing library

Every other article still on the live desk (newer than 48 hours), one after another, with the argument attached — two paragraphs on a regular briefing, three on a lightning-marked hot one. Take your time. The archive keeps them when they age off.

New to AI & Grok

What Grok is, what a Bot does, which plan you need, and the scams to walk past. A calm first week: one account, one useful post, one paid-quality favor, then a single path from this shift — not five.

Why this desk exists

A public magazine owned by BT so more people use Grok for jobs that last. Fake screenshots are loud. Boring invoices are quiet. This desk publishes the quiet work so the next person skips a scam and helps someone else.

How Grok actually pays

You sell a finished job, a charter, a review hour — not “access to the model.” Clients already have a free Grok tab. They pay for the reviewed outbound list, the Bot that drafts support, the tiny app that replaces a spreadsheet.

Tips & X Money

If this information helps someone, there is NO TAX ON TIPS. Send dollars to @stebly from X → Money → Send Money. The banner is a slogan for tipping this desk, not tax advice. Confirm current law with a professional.

Help someone else

Sit with one person, install one job, leave a runbook. That is how Grok stays in the stack: a dentist’s reminder Bot that has run for six weeks beats a cinematic launch video. Utilization is not a vanity metric.

Field notes

Operator notes from the live desk: a Bot without a definition of done is a toy, overnight work still needs a morning stack, Main Street does not want “AI,” access is a cost of goods, Creator Revenue Sharing is not the plan.

FAQ

Guarantees, refresh cadence, SuperGrok, opt-in, affiliation — straight answers. @stebly and AI Pulse make no claims or guarantees of income. This is a magazine of public reporting. Your work, your risk.

Glossary

Charter, shift, residual, Grok Bot, X Money — the words this desk actually uses. A shift is a four-hour UTC edition. Residual is money that returns. The review hour is usually what a client is buying.

Daily Pulse

Leave an X username or email on this device, then ping @stebly so the human desk can add you to the live send. One note a day: the shift that mattered, one beginner tip, a link back here. No unowned public inbox of emails.

Why this exists

A public desk, owned by BT, built to be used.

AI Pulse exists because the internet is loud with fake screenshots and quiet about the boring work that actually invoices. Every four hours this desk scans GitHub, Substack, X, Hacker News, Dev.to, and primary xAI posts, then publishes the pieces a person can run without lying to a client.

BT remains the owner. The magazine is public on purpose. The more people who can stand up a legitimate Grok desk — a template, a Bot charter, a Main Street install, a narrow briefing — the more Grok and Grok Bots get used for real jobs instead of novelty threads. Utilization is not a vanity metric. It is how a tool earns the right to stay in the stack.

A long page is a feature. Short landing pages convert. Long briefings teach. Visitors who stay, search, and send a piece to a friend are how this desk grows, how operators find each other, and how the next person skips a scam. If you only have five minutes, use search. If you have an evening, scroll. Both are correct.

Nothing here is a promise of income. Ranges in briefings are illustrations from public reporting and operator notes, not a forecast of what you will earn. If a pitch requires a fee to unlock payouts, close it. If a Bot would send money, legal advice, or medical advice without a human, do not ship it.

The scan

How Pulse searches

GitHub

Repositories matching Grok Bot, Grok Build, and xAI tooling, sorted by recent updates. Useful for templates, plugins, and installable skills. High-star official repos are marked hot because operators keep cloning them.

Substack

Feeds from operators and researchers who write about real AI work — not guru fog. We keep the ones you can steal a cadence from, and write out why the link matters instead of leaving a naked title.

X

Public posts that surface through the open web and Hacker News with x.com URLs. Seeded operator notes when the live hose is quiet. A hot post is one other people are already running, not one with a cinematic thumbnail.

Hacker News

Algolia search for Grok Bot and related threads. Good for primary links and the argument under them. Points are a hint, not a paycheck — read the comments for who actually invoiced.

YouTube, Rumble, PeerTube

Each shift we poll free lessons: YouTube channel RSS, Rumble search, PeerTube (Sepia), and news wires that surface those hosts. Duplicate topics are dropped. Lightning marks the hottest current clips. Fortune-pitch titles never make the desk.

Dev.to & open web

Tagged tutorials and primary posts from x.ai. Filtered against fortune-pitch language. If a how-to names a tool and a job you can run after hours, it stays.

Mechanics

How Grok actually pays (when it pays).

You sell a finished job, not “access to Grok”

Clients and buyers already have ChatGPT, Claude, and a free Grok tab. They do not pay for a model. They pay for a reviewed outbound list, a charter that files invoices, a tiny app that replaces a spreadsheet, a weekly research memo, or a Bot that drafts support replies a shop owner will actually send. Name the outcome in the first sentence.

Grok Bot is a teammate with a computer

Since 11 Aug 2026, Grok Bot can sign into tools, keep working after you close the laptop, and hand work back for approval. That is a different product than a prompt. The sellable asset is the charter, the connected-tool list, the sample run, and the human review hour. SuperGrok / Cursor access is a cost of goods — confirm x.ai/bot before you promise a Bot you cannot log into.

Grok Build ships the small software people will open twice

A booking page, a catalog, an intake form, a public briefing like this one. Charge for the saved hour and the week of edits, not for “an AI website.” Keep a human on payments, harm, and reputation.

X still pays for original work — and for tips

Creator Revenue Sharing is retiring in September 2026. Tips and X Money remain a direct pipe. Original posts that a Grok Bot could not have invented still travel. Teaching in public, then putting an honest tip ask next to the gift, is a legitimate residual stream. “NO TAX on Tips” on this desk is a slogan for sending X Money to @stebly. It is not tax advice.

Residual is a catalog, not a lottery ticket

Templates, memberships, retainers, and a tiny paid app that still runs next month. You maintain them on a calendar. You do not “set and forget” a living Bot. The fairy tale to skip is faceless mill-content and scraped trading signals.

Full-time

A practice you can live on is a book of reviewed work.

A full-time practice is a book of reviewed work: outbound desks, research retainers, Main Street Bot installs, support teammates, Grok Build micro-apps. You live on invoices, not on a single viral thread.

Price the review hour. Tokens are cheap. Judgment is not. A Bot that drafts 40 emails overnight still needs a human who knows which three must never send. That hour is the product — $1.5k–$6k/mo per book is the public range operators quote, not a guarantee.

Cap your seats. A VA who never drops a ball with Grok in the loop can take more clients than a VA who types everything, and can still drown. Write the 14-day onboarding. Fire the client who wants a Bot on legal advice.

Keep a runbook. If you get sick, the Bot should still be understandable. That runbook is also what you sell as a charter later.

Search full-time briefings →

Passive & residual

Catalogs, retainers, tip jars — maintained, not mythical.

Residual means money that returns: retainers, memberships, template catalogs, tip jars, a tiny app with a monthly seat. Passive means residual you are not actively working this week. Neither one is “post once, retire.”

Freeze a winner. If a template, a memo format, or a Bot charter keeps getting asked for, stop tinkering in public and put a price on the frozen thing. Schedule maintenance when Grok Bot, X, or the connected tools change.

A realistic stack for one operator: one paid template, one tip jar next to teaching posts, one tiny app or briefing with a small membership. That is enough. A 40-SKU Gumroad dump is a second job in disguise.

Tips on this desk go to @stebly through X Money. If a briefing paid for an hour of your life, send what that hour was worth. The banner at the top is the same ask, left on purpose.

Search residual briefings →

Briefing library

The rest of the shelf, un-squeezed.

Every other briefing, with the argument attached. Take your time. The archive keeps them when this shift rotates.

New to AI & Grok

A calm first week, written out.

What Grok is (and is not)

Grok is the model family from xAI — now operating as SpaceXAI after the 2026 combination, with the Grok name kept. It is a general assistant with a live view of X and the web. It is not a guaranteed money printer, a licensed advisor, or a replacement for your judgment.

What a Grok Bot is

Grok Bot (launched 11 Aug 2026) is an always-on AI teammate with its own cloud computer. It can sign into your tools, run while your laptop is closed, collaborate with other Bots, and bring work back for approval. It is currently in beta on SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro/Pro+/Ultra, and Cursor Teams.

Grok, Grok Bot, and Grok Build

Chat Grok helps you think and write. Grok Bot does multi-step work in your existing apps. Grok Build creates new apps and sites from a description. Income ideas on this magazine use all three — pick the one that matches the job.

Your first weekend

Saturday morning: make a Grok account and ask it to explain a topic you already know, then catch its mistakes. Saturday afternoon: write one useful post. Sunday: do one paid-quality favor for someone you know. Monday: read the current AI Pulse shift and pick a single path.

Plans, without the upsell fog

You can learn and earn on ordinary Grok. Grok Bot is gated in beta — confirm x.ai/bot before you sell Bot work. Heavy / Ultra / Teams seats are expensive; do not buy a $200–$300 seat on a wish. Buy it when a client or a product already covers it.

Red flags and scams to skip

Guaranteed daily returns, “Grok signal” trading rooms, exam-taking services, fake engagement, and anyone who needs you to “unlock payouts” with a fee. If a screenshot of earnings is the entire pitch, close the tab.

A simple ethics bar

Do not impersonate. Do not automate spam. Do not put a Bot on legal, medical, or financial advice. Always keep a human on money, harm, and reputation. Tell clients when a Bot drafted the work.

Tiny glossary

Charter — the Bot’s job description. Shift — our 4-hour edition. Residual — money that returns (retainers, memberships). Passive — residual you are not actively working this week. X Money — send dollars to an X user from the Money tab.

Open the full beginner desk

NO TAX on Tips

How to tip @stebly, and what that banner means.

X Money lets anyone in supported regions send dollars to an X user from the Money tab. There is still no public checkout URL. Open X → Money → Send Money → @stebly. That is the tip button this magazine uses.

If this information helps someone, there is NO TAX ON TIPS. Confirm current United States treatment of tips with a professional. @stebly and AI Pulse do not prepare returns, do not give tax advice, and do not claim your jurisdiction matches a slogan.

If a briefing helped you land a client, install a Bot, or skip a scam, the honest move is to tip and then tell one other person. Growth of this desk is growth of people using Grok for real work. That is the whole theory.

Growth

Help one person. That is how Grok stays in the stack.

The fastest way to get better at Grok is to sit next to someone who is worse at it than you were last month. Pick one person — a shop owner, a cousin with a craft table, a realtor drowning in follow-ups — and stand up one job with them. Do not sell them a transformation. Leave a one-page runbook.

Share the current Pulse shift, not a secret. Public briefings compound. Private “signal groups” extract. If you teach a charter in public, more Bots get used correctly, more templates exist, more Main Street installs happen, and the tool earns a reputation for finishing work instead of generating slides.

Grok, Grok Bot, and Grok Build get stronger when they are in the loop of real invoices. Novelty demos fade. A dentist’s reminder Bot that has run for six weeks is a better advertisement than a cinematic launch video. Help someone keep a Bot alive. That is utilization.

If they ask how you found the idea, send them here. If they ask how to pay you, invoice them. If they ask how to thank the magazine, the tip button is in the top left.

Field notes

Operator notes from the live desk.

A Bot without a definition of done is a toy

Write the charter as if a new hire were reading it. Mission, tools, definition of done, what it may never send, where it escalates. Then run it for five shifts and save the corrections. Those corrections are the product. Operators who skip this step sell prompts. Operators who keep the file sell teammates.

Overnight work still needs a morning stack

The useful Grok Bot jobs — outbound, research, support drafts, invoice intake — finish while you sleep. Your job in the morning is a review list, not a blank page. If you cannot describe the morning stack in three bullets, the Bot is not ready for a client.

Main Street does not want “AI”

A bakery wants fewer no-shows. A plumber wants the after-hours voicemail turned into a clean job card. A dentist wants reminders that do not sound like a robot. Install the job. Hide the model. Sit with them while they approve the first ten drafts. That sitting-with is why they pay you instead of clicking a template.

Original on X still beats a mill

Grok is an editor, a researcher, a first draft. The paycheck still prefers a post only you could have written: a named client pattern, a failed charter, a number from your own week. Faceless mill-content gets you banned or ignored. Teach in public. Put the tip ask next to the gift. Never gate the basic help.

Grok Build is for annoyances, not unicorns

Collect ten annoyances from people who will actually open the thing. Ship the smallest version. Price the saved hour. A catalog, an intake form, a briefing site, a booking page. If you cannot name the person who will use it on Tuesday, you are decorating.

Access is a cost of goods

Grok Bot is in beta on SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro/Pro+/Ultra, and Cursor Teams. Do not sell a Bot you cannot log into. Do not buy a Heavy seat because a thread said “agents.” Buy it when a client or a product already covers it. Confirm the current gate on x.ai/bot every shift — it moves.

Creator Revenue Sharing is not the plan

X is retiring Creator Revenue Sharing in September 2026. Build on tips, X Money, subscriptions you control, templates, and invoices. If your whole desk was impressions, this is the quarter you diversify. Pulse will keep noting the honest pipes.

Scan the wire, then ignore most of it

Each four-hour shift this magazine pulls GitHub repositories, Substack feeds, Hacker News, X URLs that surface there, Dev.to, and a seed desk of primary posts. Most of it will not be a job you should take. The point of a live wire is to see the weather, not to chase every cloud. Pick one play. Run it.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Does this site promise I will earn with Grok?

No. @stebly and AI Pulse make no claims or promises of income. This is a magazine of public reporting and tutorials. Your work, your risk. Ideas here are legitimate after-hours work that can grow with skill — not fortune pitches.

How often does the desk refresh?

Every four hours, on a UTC clock, so every visitor sees the same shift. The countdown on the home desk is the time until the next edition. Articles rotate. The live wire is scanned again each shift.

What is a Grok Bot, in one sentence?

An always-on AI teammate with its own cloud computer that can sign into your tools, work while your laptop is closed, and bring work back for approval.

Do I need SuperGrok to use this magazine?

No. You can learn and earn on ordinary Grok. Bot installs and some agent work need a paid seat — confirm the current list on x.ai/bot before you sell that work.

How do I tip @stebly?

Open X → Money tab → Send Money → @stebly. The banner at the top of every page is the same door. There is no public checkout URL yet.

Is “NO TAX ON TIPS” legal advice?

No. It is a slogan for tipping this desk. Tax treatment of tips depends on current law and your situation. Ask a professional. This magazine does not prepare returns.

Can I opt in with an email or an X username?

Yes. The Daily Pulse form stores the contact on this device, then asks you to ping @stebly so the human desk can add you to the live send. There is no unowned public inbox of emails here.

Where do the live wire links come from?

Public APIs and RSS: GitHub search, Hacker News, Substack feeds, Dev.to, AI news wires, YouTube and Rumble, PeerTube, and X URLs that appear in those sources, plus a curated seed of primary xAI and operator posts. Titles that promise fortunes are filtered out. Lightning marks pieces a lot of other operators are citing this shift.

What should a complete beginner do this weekend?

Make a Grok account. Ask it to explain a topic you already know and catch its mistakes. Write one useful post. Do one paid-quality favor for someone you know. Monday, pick a single path from this shift — not five.

Is AI Pulse affiliated with xAI or X?

No. It is an independent magazine owned by BT (@stebly). It discusses public tools. It is not a product of xAI, SpaceXAI, X Corp., or YouTube.

Why is the home page so long?

Because the useful information does not fit in a hero. Search if you are in a hurry. Scroll if you want the desk. Length is how we keep scams from being the only thing that loads fast.

How do I contact BT?

The footer holds About, Legal, and message / X Money links. Drop a message opens a compose window to @stebly on X. Secondary contact lives at the bottom on purpose so the briefing stays on top.

Glossary

Words this desk actually uses.

Grok
The model family from xAI (operating as SpaceXAI after the 2026 combination). A general assistant with a live view of X and the web.
Grok Bot
Always-on teammate with its own computer. Signs into tools, runs in parallel, returns work for approval. Beta on SuperGrok and certain Cursor plans.
Grok Build
The coding / app agent that ships sites and tools from a description. This magazine is an example of the kind of public desk it can stand up.
Charter
The Bot’s job description: mission, tools, definition of done, escalation, sample run.
Shift
A four-hour edition of AI Pulse, aligned to UTC. Six named shifts per day.
Live wire
The scan of GitHub, Substack, X, Hacker News, Dev.to, and primary posts for this shift.
Residual
Money that returns — retainers, memberships, catalogs, tips — whether or not you are at the desk today.
Passive
Residual you are not actively working this week. Still needs scheduled maintenance.
X Money
In-app dollars to an X user. Money tab → Send Money → @stebly. No public checkout URL yet.
Review hour
The human pass over Bot output. This is usually what a client is actually buying.
Template
A copyable Bot setup or runbook another operator can install. Narrow jobs sell. “Do my business” does not.
Main Street
Local shops and practices that want a job done, not a keynote about agents.
Hot
A briefing or wire item a lot of other operators are citing this shift. Marked with a lightning bolt, with three paragraphs of detail instead of two.
