As of 7 Aug 2026, X stopped new enrollments in Creator Revenue Sharing and set a 7 Sep 2026 retirement. Existing members can move toward the Original Content Rewards program. The direction is clear: pay people who post work that is actually theirs.
That is good news if you use Grok as a researcher and editor, and bad news if you paste unedited model output. The income path is still: be useful in public, every day, in a niche you can defend.
A Grok-assisted desk that stays original
